Our site licence allows all current ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app students and staff to download and use EndNote.

It is recommended for postgraduates and researchers who need to manage a high number of references. If you're an undergraduate student, you can explore some

EndNote is available on ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app computers. The current version supported by ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app is the 2025 version, EndNote22.

For Windows

1. (log in with your ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app username and password if prompted).
2. Go to your computer's Downloads folder or search for the zip file.
3. Right-click the zip file and select "Extract All".
4. Open the folder Endnote2025, which should contain two files: EN2025Inst.msi and License.dat.
5. Double-click EN2025Inst.msi to run the install and follow the prompts.

For macOS

1. (log in with your ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app username and password if prompted).
2. Go to your computer's Downloads folder or search for the zip file and double-click to open it.
3. Find the file EndNote2025.pkg and double-click to run the install and follow the prompts.

For ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app managed computers you will need to app on your desktop.

Important step after installing EndNote22

It is recommended to sign up for an account and regularly . This will allow you to recover your library if it is lost or corrupted.

Please note the default Harvard style in EndNote is not the same as the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Harvard style. The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Harvard style needs to be downloaded and installed separately.

1. Ensure you already have EndNote installed on your computer (see instructions above).
3. Find the downloaded file ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½appHarvard.ens on your computer and double-click it. It will open in EndNote.
4. Save the style as ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Harvard (File > Save As), removing the word "copy" if required.
5. Close the style (File > Close Style).
6. From within your EndNote library, find the style drop down box (top left area on Windows and bottom right on Mac) and Select Another Style, select ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Harvard then select Choose.
