Global mobility partner institutions attend ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s inaugural ‘Partner Day’
ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app is strengthening its international ties conducting its inaugural global mobility ‘Partner Day’ on 25 February – timed to suit staff from ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s global student mobility partners attending the Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) to be held in Melbourne from 29 February to 3 March.
ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app will also be represented at its booth in the Australia Pavilion at APAIE to facilitate meetings with its current and prospective mobility partners – institutions which host ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s outbound exchange students, and whose own students attend ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app to undertake study abroad, exchange or visiting research programs.
The APAIE Annual Conference and Exhibition is the key forum in the Asia-Pacific region for bringing together policy-makers and education experts from around the world to improve professional skills and learn about new developments in international education.
ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s Director of International Engagement and Co-ordination, Mr Peter Day, said ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app had arrangements with 200 mobility partner universities in total. The University has a strong international focus and reputation attracting more than 500 international students a year for short term studies at its Australian campuses.
The overseas visitors, drawn from 15 of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s international partners, had an opportunity to first visit ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app’s Sydney Business School at Circular Quay before a full program of campus tours and faculty overviews on the main campus coinciding with the autumn session O week.
