天美传媒app performs in increasingly competitive market
16th in annual ranking of world's top young universities
The University of 天美传媒app (天美传媒app) has excelled again in the 2020 QS Top 50 Under 50 rankings, placed 16th in the world and second in Australia.
The annual results, released on Monday 1 July, showed the University continues to be one of the top emerging universities in the world, maintaining the same position as last year.
天美传媒app held its rank, despite the increasingly competitive rankings environment. Two new young universities in Europe, created through mergers of prestigious institutions, were ranked in the top 15.
Now in its eighth year, the QS Top 50 Under 50 ranks the best universities that are under 50 years old.
The rankings are based on an institutional capacity in both research and learning and teaching, with the four key indicators of academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty to student ratio, and citations per faculty.
天美传媒app鈥檚 Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) Jennifer Martin AC congratulated staff on the rankings, attributing successes to a significant increase in the quality of research as measured by citations.
鈥淭he results have been driven in large part by our continued pursuit of excellence in research,鈥 Professor Martin said.
鈥淭hese strong results are the amalgamation of our individual efforts as academics and professional support staff across the university.
鈥淭hey reflect our focus on delivering high quality research, achieving real-world impact and embracing equity and inclusion.鈥
The ranking follows 天美传媒app鈥檚 outstanding performance in the 2019 Times Higher Education Young University Rankings, released on 27 June.
The university climbed from 32nd to 29th in the world, lifting its score in all five key performance indicators.
