Credit Requests
Bachelor of Nursing students who have studied nursing subjects at another institution at Bachelor level (Level 7) or above, or have completed relevant non-accredited study can request credit for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app nursing subjects by completing a Credit for Prior Learning - Application form and submitting it to the AskÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app team.
Students who have successfully completed the Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115 or HLT54121) are eligible to apply for entry into the second year (48 credit points) of the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bachelor of Nursing.
Entry into the second year is not guaranteed as spaces are limited. Students who are awarded entry into second year must hold current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Students with a package offer will have a guaranteed pathway to the Bachelor of Nursing subject to the successful completion of the Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115 or HLT54121) and provide evidence of current NMBA registration with AHPRA and will be granted admission into the second year of the course.
No credit for prior learning application form is required. Please submit this documentation through to the AskÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app team by 10 January 2025.
Postgraduate students who have studied postgraduate subjects at another institution and would like to request credit for those subjects against their current ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app degree OR have studied subjects under a different ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app degree and would like to request credit against their current ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app degree, should complete a together with detailed outlines for their previous subjects and a certified transcript that provides evidence of their marks for those subjects. Forms and supporting documents should be submitted to the AskÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app team.
Student Central staff will forward credit applications to the School of Nursing for assessment and you will receive a student email advising you of the outcome once a decision has been made.
