Overview

The Diploma of Information Technology provides guaranteed* entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Information Technology, Bachelor of Business Information Systems or Bachelor of Computer Science at the University of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app (ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app).

You will gain the skills to succeed in your ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app bachelor and explore various disciplines including programming, systems analysis, networks and web technologies. You will also graduate with a Higher Education Diploma to help get you into the workforce while completing your bachelor's degree.

    Minimum ATAR 50 or equivalent

  • Workload

    As a guide, the workload for your course is determined by the number of subjects you take each session. Four subjects in a standard session is considered to be a full-time load and generally equivalent to working full-time e.g. 35-45 hours a week (including preparation, revision and assessment tasks undertaken in your own time, in addition to the scheduled classes you must attend).
