Djiringanj Connections

On Djiringanj Country, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bega Valley has a proud connection with our local Community. Discover some of our collaborations, including the My Dreaming Track of Knowledge with Community and Elders. This page also shares the story of Bega and you can learn some key words from our local Djiringanj language. Bunja - bundjala & dhuri.

The National Circularity Centre (NCC), a multi-purpose tourism, community, and research hub, is set to be constructed in Bega. ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app is proud to be a driving partner in its establishment and will contribute research expertise in energy, materials innovation, and sustainable building practices.

Bega Community Fund

Our generous donors have had a significant impact in the lives of students in the Bega region for many years. The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bega Valley Community Fund has been established to honour their commitment and continue to develop a strong community of giving in the local area.

The fund aims to expand opportunities for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Bega Valley students through grants, prizes and scholarships.

Programs for local schools, parents and carers

The ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Outreach and Future Students team work with primary and high school students, parents and carers, and career advisers and teachers, with the aim of enabling aspirations and awareness towards higher education, and providing students with the knowledge and skills to get there.

My Future Matters outreach program

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app's Woolyungah Indigenous Centre delivers the My Future Matters program to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students in years 7 to 12. The program aims to shape students' awareness and aspirations of higher education and post-school options.
