What will I do?

As a student experience assistant you will assist in the delivery of the programs run by ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Pulse.

Your main responsibilities will be to foster relationships with students to instil a sense of community, engagement, connection and inclusivity.

You will have creative input into a comprehensive range of student engagement opportunities and gain first hand experience working within a team and organising volunteers for events both on and off campus. You will be an advocate for the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Pulse programs and develop exciting ways to promote opportunities to existing and potential students at ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Pulse delivers several exciting programs tailored to suit all interests including Clubs & Societies, Volunteering Programs, student support initiatives, Wellness Programs, social events and more. Your involvement will provide a wealth of professional and personal skill development, and diversification.

Are there any special requirements for this role?

You must be a current ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app student. Experience as a participant in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app Pulse programs such as Clubs & Societies and Volunteering programs is preferred.


Minimum requirements for ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½appx recognition

To receive ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½appx recognition, you must complete the following:

  • An "engaged" student will need to complete a minimum of 20 hours within a calendar year
  • A "highly engaged" student will need to complete a minimum of 60 hours within a calendar year
