All postgraduate coursework students pay tuition fees. However, a range of ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app courses offer subsidised course fees.

Commonwealth supported places

Many ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app coursework courses are eligible for a Commonwealth supported place (CSP).

A CSP is where the Australian Government subsidises up to three quarters of your total tuition fee. If you’re an eligible Commonwealth Supported Student you can also access HECS-HELP to defer all or part of your tuition fees. 

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app subsidised fee reduction

To make postgraduate study more affordable, where a Commonwealth supported place is not available, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app is offering eligible domestic students who start their studies in 2026 a subsidised fee reduction designed to support students to upskill and progress their careers.

How to apply for a subsidised place

Eligible students who apply for and receive an offer for a Commonwealth supported program or a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app subsidised fee reduction are automatically offered the places if they are available. There is no need to make a separate application. For more information on CSPs, visit .

Financial support

Students who are accepted into a CSP can defer their student contribution fees by accessing a HECS-HELP Loan. .

Full-fee paying places are available for students who do not meet the eligibility criteria for a CSP or ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app subsidised place. Both full fee paying students and those receiving a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½app subsidised place may be eligible to access FEE-HELP, a loan to cover all or part of your tuition fees.

In an FFPP, the Australian Government does not contribute towards your cost of studies; you need to pay the tuition fee for each subject in the course. Course fees are calculated per credit point, based on your course of study. For course fee prices, see courses.
